I bought “Yokai of Japan” and “Dark Stories” because I was already familiar with Akari-sensei’s teaching method, which I find truly effective. Learning Japanese with her feels much easier thanks to how clear and approachable her explanations are.
These stories are a great way to expand vocabulary and naturally reinforce grammar structures. I especially appreciated the furigana, which are very helpful for understanding the reading of certain kanji, as well as the vocabulary explanations provided at the end of each story.
