Akari's group program was awesome! I had a hard time finding a flexible way to work directly with a native-speaking Japanese teacher, but this group program made it easy to fit in my schedule, and was great practice with Akari as well as other students learning Japanese! The program is fun an interesting, provides a lot of helpful tools and expressions to make your Japanese sound more natural, and is completely flexible to your schedule. The zoom sessions were also a lot of fun. Akari works hard to prepare and guide lengthy conversations in Japanese. I highly recommend this program!

For anyone who finds speaking Japanese daunting and embarrassing, I wholeheartedly recommend Akari-sensei. Through her 3-month beginner course, daily conversations, and private one-on-one sessions, she creates such a supportive and encouraging environment to practice and make mistakes.

I joined the program, because I wanted to improve my listening and speaking skills in Japanese. I did struggle with both and the program provided me with exercises and friendly environment to learn and practice. During the program I learned useful expressions and vocabulary, especially those that I did not really find in my grammar book. The program helped me with confidence and finding more joy in speaking Japanese. I am going to continue learning Japanese with Akari.
