Cancellations & Refunds

Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital data products, we cannot cancel, refund, or accept returns for any paid digital content after purchase.
Please carefully review all product descriptions, previews, and samples before making a purchase.

If you experience any technical issues accessing your purchased content, please contact us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Order Cancellations (Printed Products)

If you wish to cancel an order for a printed product, please contact us within 3 hours of placing your order.
After that time, cancellation may not be possible due to packaging and shipping processes.

Once an item has entered the shipping process or has been shipped, the order cannot be canceled.
Refunds for shipping costs are also not available once the shipment has been processed.

Please note that orders containing digital items (such as downloadable bonuses or e-books) cannot be canceled or refunded once the download link has been sent.

Programs & Lessons

For the program (a.k.a. Challenge, Course), after the program has started, refunds are not possible.
If you have any issues with payment or access before the start date, please contact me before the programs start.

Subscription Memberships

We may offer subscription-based memberships, including but not limited to the Japanese Speaking Club.

By purchasing a subscription membership through our website or through a Stripe payment link provided by us, you agree to be charged automatically on a recurring basis according to the billing cycle selected at checkout.

Subscription memberships may include access to community spaces, speaking prompts, live sessions, feedback, learning resources, or other member-only materials, depending on the plan purchased.

Billing and Auto-Renewal

Subscription memberships renew automatically until cancelled.

By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor, Stripe, to charge your payment method for the applicable subscription fee at the start of each billing period.

The available billing options, prices, and included benefits may vary depending on the plan selected at checkout.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal provided by Stripe, or by contacting us.

If you cancel your subscription, the cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to the relevant membership benefits until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

No further subscription payments will be taken after cancellation, unless you choose to start a new subscription.

Refund Policy for Subscriptions

Subscription payments are non-refundable.

We do not provide refunds for full or partial billing periods, unused time, missed live sessions, lack of participation, or non-use of the community, resources, or membership benefits.

Because this is a subscription service, you may cancel your subscription at any time to avoid future charges.

This policy applies even if you do not access the community, do not attend live sessions, do not submit speaking practice, or do not use the available materials during your paid billing period.

Plan Changes

If you change from one subscription plan to another, the billing adjustment will be handled by Stripe according to the subscription settings in place at the time of the change.

When upgrading to a higher-priced plan, the change may be applied immediately. Stripe may calculate a prorated adjustment based on the unused portion of your current billing period and charge the adjusted amount at the time of the upgrade.

When switching to a lower-priced plan, the change may take effect at the end of the current billing period. In this case, you will keep access to your current plan until the end of the billing period, and the lower price will apply from the next billing period.

When switching to a shorter billing interval, the change may be applied immediately.

Plan changes may affect your access to plan-specific benefits. If you move from a higher plan to a lower plan, access to benefits included only in the higher plan may end when the plan change takes effect.

Access to Community Platforms

Some of our subscription memberships may include access to external platforms, such as Skool, Telegram, Zoom, or other community or learning tools.

Access to these platforms is provided only while your subscription is active, unless otherwise stated. If your subscription ends, is cancelled, fails to renew, or payment is unsuccessful, we may remove or restrict your access to member-only spaces, resources, live sessions, and community areas.

You are responsible for creating and maintaining any accounts needed to access third-party platforms used as part of the membership.

Payments Made Through Skool

This Subscription Membership policy applies to subscriptions purchased directly through Mochifika’s website or through Stripe payment links provided by us.

If you purchase access directly through the Skool platform, Skool’s own payment terms, transaction terms, cancellation rules, and refund policies apply to that transaction.

Changes to Membership Benefits

We may update, add, remove, or change membership benefits, community features, live session formats, resources, or platform access from time to time.

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the core purpose of the membership, but does not guarantee that specific features, resources, live sessions, or platforms will remain available permanently.

Failed Payments

If a subscription payment fails, access to the relevant membership benefits may be paused, restricted, or cancelled until payment is successfully completed.

It is your responsibility to keep your payment method up to date.

Shipping & Delivery

Printed Products

When purchasing a printed product (such as a soft-cover book),
please note that shipping fees are not included in the product price.
Shipping costs vary depending on your delivery address and are automatically calculated at checkout after you enter your shipping details.
You will see the total cost, including shipping, before you complete your payment.

If you use PayPal Express Checkout, please make sure that your shipping address is entered correctly and that the total (including shipping) is displayed before confirming payment.

However, due to postal service limitations, we may not be able to deliver to remote or restricted areas even within the countries listed above.
If we are unable to ship to your address, we will contact you to arrange an alternative solution or refund.

Digital Products

Digital items (such as e-books, PDFs, audio files, and downloadable materials)
are delivered instantly after payment.
No shipping fee applies to digital products.

Please note that orders containing digital items are non-refundable once the download link has been sent or accessed.

Delivery Times

Shipping times vary by destination and postal service.
Most orders are processed and shipped within 3–5 business days.
Delivery may take from a few days to several weeks, depending on your region.
Tracking information will be provided by email once your order is shipped.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

International shipments may be subject to customs duties or import taxes depending on your country’s regulations.
These fees are not included in the product or shipping price and are the responsibility of the buyer.
